USBFever has an odd looking charging accessory which may just make you reach for your wallet. Since the unification of charging adapters has been blessed but has yet to occur, we're required to endure cable chaos. The Super USB Mobilephone Charger has a little something for almost everyone. This octopus looking USB cable actually has 10 arms, with 10 different connection tips, for most of the popular phones on the market today. While few people will need all of them, many of us need more than a few. Nokia is well represented as is the iPhone. The 3 main flavors of USB are also present making it useful for many different devices that charge via USB.
One caveat, power is the cardinal concern of this octo-charger and not data. Only the iPhone connection will actually be able to support data over the USB mega-cable. All other devices will need to find another way to sync data with a computer. The charging cable is also only able to charge one device at a time. This is more a limit of the 500ma current supplied by most USB 2.0 ports (USB 3.0 specifications mandates 900ma). Most wall chargers provide more than 500ma and will charge your phone faster. For only $13 dollars, shipped, how much can you really ask for?
